Initial phone call before booking for you to tell us about your honoree, your ideas, discuss your vision for the celebration of life memorial and answer your questions. After that we will send you a custom quote for your event.
If you don’t have a venue selected, we can help you find and book one that feels right to you
A site visit at your venue to talk about the layout and logistics of the event including guest arrival, parking, set up for the program/service, menu selection, seating, where photos will be placed, etc. We will help you identify small details you might not have considered.
Vendor recommendations and assistance booking vendors (florist, caterer, slideshow, valet, AV needs, musicians, etc.) so that you have a group of vendors that who are professional and thoughtful.
Coordinate with signage artist for directional and information signs so you don’t have to worry about those details
Manage vendor communications and coordination so that you don’t have to spend your time replying to a flood of emails from vendors asking questions about logistics and details
Proofread event website, programs, and invitations to ensure they are accurate and easy to understand
Assist with ideas and recommendations for the program/ service (how many speakers, who should speak, duration, etc.) to help you create a meaningful and thoughtful program / service.
Phone and video meetings as needed to answer your questions and help to keep you on track with the event planning

The week of your event we call your vendors to confirm the details, review the timeline, and send them the finalized timeline so that everyone is on the same page and prepared
On the event day:
Arrive early with an assistant, typically before the other vendors, so we are able to answer their questions
Oversee the setup of vendors and answer their questions to ensure that the set up is perfect
Keep the day on schedule and flowing so that you can be present and not worry
Point person for questions from vendors so you are not disturbed during the event
Point person for guest questions
Placement of personal items provided by you (programs, favors, photos, guestbook, menus, memorabilia, signs, etc.) so that you don’t have to ask a friend or family member
Apply final touches to the decor so that everything is ready when guests arrive
Assist guests and family as needed
During the program/service coordinate and cue musicians, AV, photographers, videographers, and speakers so the program flows smoothly
At the end of the event collect cards and personal items and give them to a designated person to take home
Oversee vendor clean up and break down at the end of the event
Bring event day ‘Fix It’ bag to handle, repair, and fix items
